Family Traditions and Thanksgiving Customs

Thanksgiving is a time deeply rooted in tradition and custom. Since the first Thanksgiving dinner in 1621, our country has made a tradition out of being thankful. As we approach the holiday, we thought it a good time to reflect upon our Thanksgiving customs and those things for which we are grateful. Ron & Alicia Robinson Florist is proud to be a small part of the Thanksgiving traditions our community celebrates.

A recent poll conducted over social media showed that overwhelmingly, people are grateful for their family and friends. In fact, 50% of the top responses fell into the relationship category – spouses, children, friends. This would make sense, as gathering around the Thanksgiving table is our most cherished tradition. Whether family by blood, or family by love – we can’t imagine the holidays without those closest to us. You can decorate your home with all of the ambiance and warmth of the season with beautiful fall arrangements, baskets, and bouquets perfect for Thanksgiving.

Don’t Forget

If you are an invited guest, a vivid autumn floral design is the perfect way to thank your hostess!

The list of top responses is rounded out with answers that reach across the human experience – respondents said that they were thankful for their health, for life itself, for their job, for a roof over their head – and for music. That’s a pretty amazing list which reminds us that we all have so much to be grateful for.

For over 30 years, Ron & Alicia Robinson Florist has been a tradition in the Glendora, Whittier, and Roland Heights communities. We are honored to provide the beauty of seasonal floral decor to your homes for these most special of times. This year, start a new tradition and transform your Thanksgiving customs with fresh flowers.
